After your successful completion of our Pre-licensing Exam you will have 180 days to contact Pearson Vue to make a reservation to take your Surety Bail state exam.

After your successful completion of our Pre-licensing Exam you will have 180 days to contact Pearson Vue to make a reservation to take your Surety Bail state exam.

Applicants must contact Pearson VUE to make a reservation for their state surety bail examination. Pearson VUE will provide applicants with a confirmation number once the examination date and location are confirmed. The confirmation number should be written down and used for any contact with Pearson VUE.

Applicants may make a reservation to take an examination by one of the following methods:

Online: Go to www.PearsonVUE.com to make an online reservation for an examination. First time users are required to create an account. All required fields, which are listed in bold, must be completed on the online form in order to create an ID and password. Step-by-step instructions will follow on how to make a reservation for an examination. Online reservations must be made at least 24 hours before the desired exam date.

By Phone: Contact Pearson VUE at 1-800-275-8361 at least 24 hours before the desired exam date. The customer care hours are as follows:

• Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 11:00 pm (EST)
• Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (EST)
• Sunday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (EST)

By Fax: Complete the Fax Reservation form, found on page 61 of the Ohio Handbook and fax to 1-888-204-6291. Fax lines are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The completed form should be faxed at least 4 business days before the desired examination date. A confirmation of the reservation will be returned by fax within 24 hours of receipt of faxed request.

Items needed for making a reservation:

• Legal name, address, SSN, day time telephone, and date of birth
• Name of examination(s) or exam codes
• Preferred examination date and test center locations
• A failing score report (if retaking an examination)
• Pre-License Provider name
• Pre-License Provider ID number
• Pre-License course completion date(s)

Fees:

Fees must be paid at the time of reservation by credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover), debit card, voucher, or electric check. Fees will not be accepted at the test center.

• Examination fee of $53.00
• Licensure fee of $10.00 per line of authority

 School Tuition and Refund Policy

Spring Break LLC will refund the full tuition paid for a surety bail bond pre-license class provided that a written cancellation is received by mail within 48 hours of the start of the scheduled class. No other requests for refunds will be approved. Tuition for the pre-license self study course is non-refundable.
